Is this a good deal on a 2011 XJL?
Considering buying my first Jag and need some opinions from other Jag owners.
2011 XJL with Driver's Assist Package, Bowers & Wilkins 1200W Package and 20" Kasug Polished Allow Wheels. Has 5,600 miles. Was a dealership demo.
Sticker is $88,875. They are asking $75,000
Had intended to lease an XF but not sure I can pass up this opportunity. I tried to research value as a "used" car but nothing as it's a 2011. According to Edmunds, the invoice is $81,254.
Is this a good price? Sure seems like it to me.

Yes, that is a good price. They bought it for far less than invoice because it's a demo...jag corporate allows dealers to purchase cars to use as demos for cheap. There's another thread about this that I posted in with pricing details. You might be able to get them to shave a little bit more, but the price is good...can't go wrong on that deal.

Yes, that is a very good deal. But you should make certain of a couple of things:
1.) Check the TSB's (I can send you if you need) and your VIN. Make sure all the work is done, especially if it is an early VIN
2.) Make sure it is not a pre-production demonstator. Jaguar did not allow dealers to sell those initially as they wanted them back for evaluations or re-work or something. Make sure that you are clear about that with the dealer.
Don't let all the early issue items scare you. If your dealers did all the TSB's these should be addressed. May be better, the car is well tested and you can expect the dealer do have taken care of all that stuff. I suggest a very detailed test drive and trying out ALL the features, especially FM radio, Bluetooth, iPod hookup and Navigation. Check if the Voice command is available; that tells you the latest software had been installed. Once that all has checked out, you should be very happy with the car.
Like I said, don't let some of the discussed issues scare you away. They sound worse than they are, and as I gather in some cases we are talking about a real lemon, (happens but is rare) and in some cases we are talking about techs who don't know what they are doing.
FYI, to get exact sticker info, you can "build" a car on Jaguar website. That should get you a pretty good price info. Most of the time they are selling at sticker right now. It's rare to get a discounted one.
It's a good price. I'd go for it.

wow..The price is very nice. You can buy a far new car for about 4/5 of price. Some people say that "demos" are intended to break, drive hardly in every conditions that client could "test", which leads that mileage declared do not corresponds the actual level of wearing, but I do not agree on that.
