Heated/cooled seat module location
#21
I swapped it, but it didn't fix the problem. Drivers seat doesn't heat or cool down. I can hear that the seat cooling fan doesn't come on. What do you glean from that? If it was the heating element in the seat methinks that the cooling would still work?
All fuses are ok. Your thoughts?

Heated seat fan cutting out after 30 seconds
hi mate did you manage to work out what was causing this issue as my 2012 xf is doing the same thing,

Have you checked to see if the cover/filter to the fan is full of junk?
Jaguar/Ford have gone back and forth on this and the early cars have a seat filter but in later years they removed any filter media and just made it an open cover.
A good thread with pictures but this may NOT be your problem. So just something to check.

The filters on both front seats seem quite clean, found a split in the duct on the fan/motor/ Pelletier that’s fitted in the back of the seat, waiting for the new part tomorrow and hopefully that resolves the issue

Hi Vic Tor. I finally found the fault. The peltier element was corroded and not working/or the fan wasn't working. Replaced it with a new fan and new peltier element and seat heating working now.
