Hi
Has anyone got any idea where my Heater control module and also what it may look like. So at least I'll know what I'm looking for. My car is a Jaguar XJ 2012
Thanks in advance

Regards
Alan

Look at the attached and search "cntrl F" for C2H101A which is a connector attached to the climate control module.

You are an absolute star mate. Thank you very much. I notice the diagram is of a L/H drive car, will it be on the same side or different on a R/H drive.

Cheers

It will be reversed; i.e. above the passenger footwell LH side.

The diagram is from the electrical wiring diagrams (EWDs) on https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topix/user/loginForm. Anyone can register there, but there is a fee to access the information which differs based on the models and length of access you require.

What is it you need to do with your module? Are you replacing it? I can grab the workshop instructions for removing the module later if needed.

WOW that would be great if you could.
I'm having a problem with the passenger side front and the same side behind. There's no heat and the blower doesn't seem to blow air out either. Driver and seat behind, all work fine. I've look around for help on the net, no joy. I'm at a loss, the local dealership want's 1600,for doing the fix. I can't afford to pay that, so it's up to seek and destroy lol
Any help diagrams or components of the heater/cooling system would help me out.

Thanks for your help so far.

Default cold air on passenger side

Hi Alan, I see that this is an old post but I was wondering if you have fixed this problem as I have the same on my 2011 X351?

If I do HARD reset by disconnecting the Battery positive for 30 mins then the Climate Control works perfectly for a few days but then reverts to Cold Air on Nearside of car.

Would love to know how you got on.

Thanks in advance.

Phil

Yes, I said it was. Has anyone replaced an ATC module on an X351?

I believe I have the same problem.
B11ed-87 electric heater control module- permanent error. Is the code above the part number for the piece?
And…. Has anything to do with fan blowing hot and cold air at the same time on the passenger side for a left drive car? Driver-left side is cold ok.
The passenger side I think it uses the electrical heater to make cold air from the cooling system hot again.
Help?

The electric heater is last device on LIN-bus controlling the left side air circulation flaps. Failure can mess up the comminication and left side flaps enter on uncontrolled state
Happens on my friends XJ and after we changed the control printed circuit board of the heater on site, the control of the flaps returns. (bit tricky to change it, but still less work than change whole heater. (LHD driven vehicle)

We need to be careful here?
ONLY the Diesel versions of the X351 came with this auxiliary electrical heater. No gas engines did and in the US we never got the Diesel versions.

Guys…. X351 is drive by wire or mechanical? Could be a problem with steering wheels sensor?

The throttle is DBW (No Cable)? Is that what you meant? But that's not related to anything in the steering?
Now some Jaguars also got electric steering depending on the year so that would be DBW too I guess?
