I had my insurance with travelers years ago. They were expensive but they took care of everything. After an accident just drop it off at the body shop and pick up your rental car. Even when it's not your fault they paid for your car and their lawyers went after the other guy's cheapo insurance company. When your cars ready drop off the rental and pick up your car and you were done. On the other end of the spectrum was progressive. When someone hits you they hang up after telling you to call the other guy's insurance company. They tell you we don't do that, no we don't do that either, no we can't do that, thanks for calling, click!

You get what you pay for. Although those exclusions seem a little over the top, like progressive insurance.

So today the sunroof wouldn't close and kept retracting back. Took it in and they will look at it for free and even check out the popping noise while they are in there.

Downside... they have me a F****** Toyota Camry as a loaner. Smh.

My front sunroof, rear sunroof shade, and then driver window motor all went out in the first few months after purchase. My indie said if the Previous owner probably never ever used them, so then from lack of uses they usually go right away once you start using them. He's seen lots of sunroofs and window motors go on extremely low mileage jags and rovers right after a new owner starts using them so yay!!! And I also have roof popping, incredible build quality... lol....

I've never been a big fan of sunroofs and would actually prefer just not to have one. Unfortunately, that's nearly impossible to find nowadays. The sunroofs on my XJL and my Lincoln Navigator have never been opened. When my wife was still able to drive, she liked opening the sunroof on her cars and did so often. On several occasions, she managed to leave them open and the interiors got soaked by rainfall. One would think one would learn from these incidents, but we had to dry out the interiors of a 2000 Cadillac, a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer, and a 2004 Jaguar, so... apparently not. When I bought the current Jaguar, the sunshades were open. If the car was parked outside, the chrome shifter knob would get so hot you could barely stand to touch it! I closed them, and they've remained closed ever since. In all fairness, I guess I should add that I also own a convertible for open-air driving, which probably contributes to my lack of fascination with sunroofs.

Good point about the lack of use causing problems.
The moon roof should be lubricated to prevent squeaks too.
