Beautiful, really lovely looking car
Like the wheels, can't see too well and wonder if you've done anything with the hubs / calipers in regards to painting them / powder coating etc?

The rims look nice and it would really showcase them further.....It may have been done, just can't see too closely

Beautiful, thanks for sharing

The hubs and calipers are stock, did nothing but put the wheels on.

Thank you for the compliment.

Very good looking XJ. Your approach to paining the pillars and top black is really good looking and the wheels add to the good looks. Enjoy your ride.

+1 on what XJsss said.

Did you have the roof and mirrors painted or wrapped? Cost? I'm thinking about doing the same.

Good job on the mods...Did you smoke (tint) your rear lower side markers?

It's a smoke wrap... Like on the tail lights.

Very pretty....excellent pics. I like the fact that you blacked-out the narrow section from the front to the rear pillars...very nice.
Did you think about blacking-out the chrome trim as well around the windows?

Yes I did, but i decided that it "needed it" to give some contrast to the chrome in the door handles, exhaust, and the wheels. I had blacked out the "plate" on the side and the leaper on the back but imo it made them look "cheap" and took away from the elegance of the car? Next thought was to black out the lips on the wheels and "white" out the center or visa-versa? The good thing is I plasti dipped or wrapped all ive done so everything is reversible.

These were my first choice in wheels, i liked the black and white contrast, so my thought was to replicate the contrast on my current wheels:

Love the black top on the white bottom. Very subtle!

Nice job, looks great.
How did you plasti dip the grill. Did you manage to get behind it somehow for spray through? Did you just spray it without any coverage behind it? it looks great and I've been thinking to the do the same.

personally I do think thr chrome trim should be black, but just my opinion. I just plasti dipped my rear roof panel but it didn't look great as it was too matt compared with the sun roof so pulled it all off. gonna have to go vinyl.

Leaving the chrome around the roofline was a stroke of genius. It looks incredible.
