Intelligent Stop Start and engine longevity?

Considering the timing chain components and it’s design and possible weakness, does stop start negatively affect the tensioners? Do they have to get re energized every start cycle? What if the ratcheting mechanic has failed and only pressure is keeping tension. Is it prudent for the engine to constantly restart? Or do things stay in place on warm start ups and only cold starts is the potential issue?. I guess the question is, does this feature increase the potential failure rate?
I am looking into a 2013 solely for the auto stop feature, I’m used to hybrids and I am in a heavy metro area with a lot of congestion. The VIN shows it at 37000 range so I think pre-updated timing components.
. willing to take a chance and be in the low failure rate camp. But I do 20k a year and would like to get to 200,000
