Default Interior leather/wood repair

Can the wooden trim in the picture be re-lacquered/polished to look new? Or am I better off just replacing the wooden panels for $190. In regards to the leather, it looks like it’s shrinking or stretching back out from where it was fastened. Am I better off just going to a leather specialist and having them try to repair it? Or should I go for an entirely new leather wrapped/assembled dash for $250?

(Currently talking to a guy who owns a parts car with a pretty pristine interior and most interior trim pieces are held in by pressure clips, which would be easy for me)
