Default Moving Complete MOST Ring modules from one car to another

If I locate a Savage car and remove the DVD, Screen, Bluetooth, SAT/NAV, and Amp modules, will they work in my car without requiring programming?

Yes. They will still work as long as they are compatible with your model year XJ. Ideally, if all the WERS numbers matched the same, you should be able to swap with no programming. I’ve done this with several modules. It may help to know the model year of the vehicle that you are pulling the equipment from, and the model year of the vehicle that you’re planning to put the equipment in.

I have a 2012 XJL Supersport with a rear entertainment system. I found two DVD/CD modules on eBay that match my WERS No. I'm purchasing both with the hope that they resolve my issue. Thanks so much!

That is my experiense for 2010-2011 and 2012-2015 vehicles too. (There was update on 2012 fixing many issues on IAM2.1. Some 2012 models, if i remember right up to -2013, is possible to add 2010-11 vehicles without losing any functions. 2013-14 will work on 2010-11 vehicle, but the map on instrument display will be black, because changed LVDS signal type)

I tried two IAM modules with identical model numbers that did not resolve restore functions. Any suggestions?

Components can most certainly be swapped, but it sounds like you have another issue. Can you describe your problem? What got you to swapping components?
