Just bought these Splash Guard from the dealer for the XJ:
Jaguar branded rear mudflaps complement the lines of your vehicle, reduce spray and provide protection from dirt and stone chippings.
Price: $85.75 Reference #: C2D8499 Rears, C2D8498 Fronts, C2D12682 Clips
Anyone has experience installing them?
Pretty easy?
Any videos of install specifically for the XJ?
Thanks,
Mudflaps

Sorry it is a bit late so you may have already fitted them!
They are dead easy to fit - the instruction sheets they come with show each step but for the fronts you just remove the two screws holding the wheel arch liner to the side skirt, offer the guard into place, fold the side flaps over the wing so they protect it from the clips, force the clips on, and replace the two screws with longer ones. The rears are very similar.
The clips can be very stiff - a little bit of silicon lube wiped on the flaps helps them slide on.

I recently ordered both front and rear mudflaps for my 2017 XJ. I mentioned to the Parts chap that my understanding was additional clips were needed (C2D12682). He assured me the kits came complete with all that was needed. When they arrived at the dealership and I went to pick them up, I noticed the rear set did not have any mounting hardware at all. The front set had screws and clips so I figured that set was OK. The Parts guy (who was very helpful) went back to speak with one of the mechanics to confirm. Came back and said that you use the existing screws all the way around so should be good to go.
Turns out you do use 3 existing screws for the rear set although the installation instructions call for 2 additional clips on each side (they help to hold the mudflaps more solidly in place).
For the fronts you use 2 existing screws for the bottom portion of the mudflap but need the additional clips (C2D12682) to hold the upper portion of the mudflap in place. So I was able to get the rears installed - minus the 2 clips that are on order, but the fronts are waiting for these clips to arrive.(had to order 8 clips in total). They gave me a "deal" at $7.00 CAD for each clip lol
I guess they haven't sold too many of these mudflaps. I pretty well always install these on new vehicles as I beleive they do help. I did struggle a bit when deciding for the XJ though. Wasn't sure if it would look OK. So far I'm pleased with the rears though.
Cheers!!
