My 4 month old XJL
#81
I have the OEM Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires. I got 18,000 miles out of the rears and 22,000 miles out of the fronts--great wear and handling and I drive fairly aggressively. I replaced them with the same tires, even though they are a little pricey.
My check engine light came on this morning while I was driving to the dealer for my yearly service (what a coincidence). They are having to replace my catalytic converter. They told me that usually a check engine light means an emissions problem. I also needed a state inspection, but they can't do this now since when they clear the check engine light it clears all of the emissions data from the car and you have to drive it about 200 miles before it will give a reading for the state emissions test.
