Default Navigation Points of Interest

Has anyone been unable to turn on the navigation POI? My wife and I were taking a trip the other day and I was not able to turn the POI on (both at a stop, or moving). The button is displayed, but it always stays greyed. I was at a 1/4 mile resolution or greater.

Glad you figured it out . . . yes, that button is kind of misleading as it only used to turn off the displaying of POI icons (can be accomplished via voice control as well). You can also use voice control to quickly display POI icons by saying "Navigation" followed by saying the name of the desired POI category. "Navigation, I'm Hungry" is one of my faves - found some interesting restaurants in out-of-the-way places that way.

That's an intriguing idea and is not without its appeal... but previous experience has shown me that it can make a bad situation even worse. Plus you can bruise your knuckles.

Hahah, exactly...I only wish at times I could have punched the screen! I feel like I'm driving in a glass car most of the time, I wouldn't dare punch the screen! Funny how some cars feel absolutely bullet proof (i.e. some German cars). This car is not one of them. I feel like this car will break or pop or rattle just by looking at it funny.
