Hello. I'm a noob with Jaguars (im a Japanese car guy). Well our shop does insurance investigations for insurance companies and we recently received a 2011 XJ SC that the owner drove into a garage and damaged the right front where the cooler is and caused the cooler to leak. (Assuming that's the auxiliary radiator) well now there is coolant leaking into the engine somewhere because the car is blowing white smoke out the exhaust and coolant is low. The car will eventually put its self into a limp mode and then completely cut out and die. Now we don't have approval to tear the engine down and find out what's wrong. So we have no idea where its leaking. There are no signs of a blown head gasket and the temp gauge does not signal an over heat when it cuts out. There are no codes in the computer to help show a direction.

Now for the main question. We don't normally see cars like this at our shop so we don't have much experience with these motors. My question is, the supercharger system on the car. 1) is it only coolant cooled? 2) in the front of the car you have a cooler the one furthest forward. Its not the radiator or the ac condenser what is it. There is 3 hoses going to it two split off for tubes to the manifold on the top and one goes to the radiator. What does this cooler do? Is it for the sc? 3) does anyone have a link to a diagram of the way this SC system works?

Were trying to learn how all this cooling works in the car cause its a cluster f**k of hoses. Any help would be great. We know our way around a supercharger just not on this car. If more questions come up tomorrow I will post them up. Thank you all for your help.
