I have met Wayne Burgess. He is a really cool guy. He was one of them that help show us around during the Feel XE event.

Can't you tune the older XJR to get a lot more hp?

Wolfy, if you believe what some have posted here, you can take a standard supercharged 5.0L engine and then add the XJR pulley to the car. From there, you can then get the dealership to install the XJR tune into your car (not all dealers will do this and those that do will most likely void any warrantee that may be left on the car). This in theory will put you up to the 550 hp rating. From there, you can find a dyno shop and let them work their magic in opening up the factory installed limitations. This will supposedly get you up to 620 hp. I am sure if you add some other bolt ons, you can get the power above that. How much, who knows. I would think that you are going to reach the limitation of the fuel system shortly after the 620 hp point. So, how much are you willing to upgrade to get above that point? You would have to change out the fuel injectors and then also upgrade the fuel pump to a higher flow rate unit. You would then be limited by the amount of air that you are pushing into the engine.

I stopped looking when the spec sheet said "polished black wheels". I hate black wheels more than fuzzy dice.

Price didn't really change and it looks like the XJR575 is the new XJR.
