Default New member from Germany- tire questions

Hello,
Im from Germany and new to this forum.
I recently got a 2010 XJ Supercharged with original 13k miles, wich is great but that also means that are still the OEM tires on it, so i need to replace them.
I have the stock 275/35r20 +245/40r20 on polished Orona rims.
Now i would like to know if i can fit the XJR size (295/30r20+ 265/35r20) on them, or do they have a different offset?

Best Regards Sebastian

Some of us have done that. I just had my second set of Michelin Pilot Supersport tires installed of those sizes and got 18.8k miles on the first set and all 4 wore at the same rate. I will caution you to make absolutely sure that the tires are the same spec/compound. Mine are BMW spec as denoted by a "*" on the tire. This would be especially important for you as you are in Germany and able to drive at high speeds on tha Autobahn.
