No Battery Issues with 2013

Seems like they may have fixed the low battery issues with the 2013 model. I left my 2013 X351 in the garage for 23 days when away on a trip unlocked to see what would happen.
When I first opened the drivers door, I thought the battery was dead. No lights and no dash activity. After a couple seconds, everything came to life. Started up fine with no low battery warning.
The 2013 model does have 2 batteries (one for the auto start stop feature). It also seemed like it went into a sleep mode, so maybe they changed the software.
Anyways, pretty happy that I don't have to worry about locking the doors or a battery conditioner (for now!)

While I was at the dealer, I opened the door to a 2014 F-type and, guess what: Low Battery Warning.
Edit: is the second battery in the 2013s similar size to the main one? That is an added 40lbs of weight otherwise not needed. I do not like that idea. Where is the second battery located?

I am, once again, less than thrilled with Jaguar. Just one short week after I got a new battery installed into my 1 year old XJL I got an other Low Battery Warning. That came after driving the car home from the dealer the previous Friday (150 miles), then taking the car for a 140 miles drive on Tuesday.
Car was locked as usual until starting it last night, Sunday, to back it out of the garage for a wash. Before the restart came the warning. Have to add that I have all interior lights turned off and had no electrical device turned on during the brief wash.
