Options you wish you had gotten (or didn't get)

So I took a test drive of a 2012 XJL Supercharged. It had a misfire at idle as it seems is common with these cars. I have to say, I feel like the supercharger is kind of superfluous on a car like this. Most likely I would fit it with all season tires as this one had, and giving it moderate throttle just causes the DSC to activate. Plus as I found out, the paddle shifters do not cause the throttle blipping downshift as on the other Jags, which is disappointing. I just get the feeling that this isn't a car I would be tossing around in the twisties.
I think if I could find a 2011 XJL NA in black with the luxury package, I would be perfectly satisfied.

This is purely aesthetic, and it may sound silly, but I absolutely love the Illumination Package, which basically consists of glowing blue vents and door sills. It's a $1,700 option new, but I doubt that it would add much, if anything, to the asking price of a used XJ. My 2012 had it so when I was shopping for a new 2014, it was the one option I absolutely knew I wanted to get/keep.

Although not an option, as such, I would consider replacing the factory tires with Continental ExtremeContact DWS ultra-performance all season tires all around for superior hydroplaning resistance and wet traction, ride and noise comfort, snow and ice traction, less unsprung weight, plus a 50M mile warranty and lifetime road hazard replacement.
