Tigger, there is no adjustability to the system that I am aware of. What is your issue and there may be something that can be done to get it closer to what you are after? I know on my 2012, it was really touchy when I had a sensor that was not fully seated in the mount in the bumper. So, that might be something you want to check first if it is a single zone that is being a problem child.

Agreed and I think it's just how the system is set up?
Besides the dumb idea that you must turn on the front parking sensors? Where did Jaguar come up with this terrible idea? ALL other cars including my previous Jaguars keep the front parking sensors on all the time.
Why? So you don't run into things!! Exactly what the parking sensors are for! I have scrapped the front bumper-chin spoiler up because the system is so poorly designed and installed. I hit things before the sensors go off. Now I am more cautious and tend to stay back from the front of my parking spot.

Tigger, just to ask a silly question, did you have a clear bra put on the front of the car? If so, when they did the parking sensors, did they put film over the sensors to protect them too? If so, that could be the reason why they do not have a lot of sensitivity. After that, I am not sure what your problem could be.

I've had mine about a month, and front right (driver size UK) is hyper sensitive in the dark or wet. Less crappy in daylight randomly, which makes me thinks the camera plays into it.
Also it's noticeably worse if the wheels are turned when going into reverse. Straight wheels results in less fun.
Slight paint blister in the sensor also which may be relevant....

Tigger, if you look at the edges of the various body panels, you may feel the edge of the clear plastic covering. For example, just above the headlights where it curves under, right near that bend you may feel a little edge that you really cannot see. That would be the clear bra I am talking about. I only discovered this recently from buying my car back in April of this year. The dealership I bought it from did not mention anything about it. Mine covers the whole hood/bonnet, the front wheel wells, and the bumper cover. But, there should be cut outs for the various sensors

sensor is shot!
Ultrasonic parking sensors are typically a consumable. If the paint blisters, it is most likely near death. Mine show paint blistering too and do intermittently fail. This unfortunately leads to a deactivation of the sensors plus the camera!
I would suspect OEM sensors a bit better in terms of durability, but aftermarket sensors are so darn cheap, it is hard to resist the urge to buy a full set and replace all in one go. Buy a matching set of rattle can spray paint, to match the color of your car. Still cheaper than one oem sensor!
