Default part number for the lower air inlet chrome rings on the XJR front bumper

not a fan of the little chrome horizontal pieces on the little air inlets in the XJ's front bumper...want to get more of an XJR look with the chrome rings instead, without buying an XJR bumper
1) would the rings fit?
2) what are the part numbers?
3) I will probably need to buy the mesh as well

As long as yours is a 2015MY then the base bumper cover is the same.

C2D41725 and C2D41728 are the blades which you already have.

You want these:
C2D41726, FW9M-17B970-BA, RH, chrome finish
C2D41729, FW9M-17C753-BA, LH, chrome finish

You may need the black mesh part as well, it is showing as a distinct part. IIRC the mesh for use with the horizontal blade is a unique moulding but I may be misremembering as I've only looked at them once.

C2D41720, FW9M-15K232-AA, RH, lower, open side mesh
C2D41722, FW9M-15K233-AA, LH, lower, open side mesh

To change them you need to remove the bumper cover from the car, turn it front-face down on a blanket and after removing the 2 screws on the rear of each you will need to use blades/screwdrivers to carefully release the captive tabs and then the rings slide out at a 45 degree angle (pull towards the centre of the bumper). Test each tab to find the one that binds first and then release that one and repeat. It is a pita job, but it will come out.

I have done this on a 2012 XJL and it wasn't that bad at all.
Here is a thread where they did what you are wanting to do.

The info I gave was for 2015MY and later only. You can tell if the car has the double J headlamps, or the earlier kind.
I can check the parts for the earlier cars if you need them.
