Pedestrian airbag
Hi guys I had my pedestrian airbags deployed.
I'm ok the hunt for spares.
The number on my air bag is 8x2316E600AA
part number c2d23552.
I have only been able to find 8x2316E600AC, they look identical and the part number is the same c2d23552.
Does anybody know id they will work.

I think there is a spacer piece to fit under one airbag unit on one side if I remember correctly, you should be able to reuse the original spacer.
I had this happen on my previous XJ. I also found two replacement airbag units on ebay, my sensor behind the front bumper was also replaced to be safe.
On mine there was a small amount of strain on both the bonnet hinges so I had to have those replaced as well.
There was a very very slight bend about 60mm from the trailing edge right across the bonnet, it meant that without replacing the whole bonnet I had to put up with a very very small difference in height when trying to align it with each wing at the rearmost point both sides, you may struggle to see it unless you know about it but it meant the top surface of the bonnet sat about 1.5mm higher.
I wish you well with the repair.
