Default Portfolio "proof"?

I'm looking at buying a certified, pre owned 2014 XJ. The salesman says it's a portfolio edition, but there is no indication of it on the car itself, and so far he hasn't produced a moroney label (window sticker) or anything proving that it's a portfolio. I've got an XKR Portfolio that has "PORTFOLIO" on the door sill trim plates. I'm not really hung up on having a Portfolio edition car, but also don't want to pay the extra money for one if the car isn't really a Portfolio.
Can anyone tell me any way to check and see if it's a portfolio or not? I called a different Jag dealer and the guy I spoke with there said "ummm. ALL of the XJ's are "portfolios" now", but I dn't believe that to be true...
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'd call Jaguar USA and give them the VIN number and they can tell you. I also, know my dealer's parts manager can get a build sheet from Jaguar when he supplies the VIN.

A quick check of the jaguar website shows that only the long wheelbase XJLs are labeled as Portfolio models. Short wheelbase XJs are not.

The vin number is SAJWJ1CDXE8V60369

The place is a jag dealer, and I would have thought that they could have gotten the info instantly.
I think what happened is that the salesman told me it was a Portfolio edition and we set a price based on that, but then he found out that it's not a Portfolio and is trying to get me to buy it anyway. He claims that it will take a week or more to get the proof from Jaguar that it's a portfolio. Smells REALLY fishy....
I wouldn't mess with it except that I want a Caviar colored one, and they are hard to find used and AWD...

Geek,
I just checked the jaguar USA website and it shows a Portfolio package on the regular XJ's in addition to the XJL models..

I will say this my car was built near the beginning of the 2013 run in September of 2012 and the car arrived with the plain marking on the front fenders and the dealer had to order the SuperSport side trim that is bolted on.

Thanks! Again, it's not so important that it's a Portfolio edition to me. It's just that I don't wan tot pay an extra 2K for a "Portfolio " car is it isn't one...

Default Portfolio Package

I purchased a CPO 2013 XJ, which has a "Portfolio Package". It is not a "Portfolio" model. I'm fairly certain that the "Portfolio Package" was also available for the 2014 models.

The description of the package, is as follows:
PORTFOLIO PACK

The Portfolio pack brings a higher level of luxury to the XJ and XJ AWD, including extended choices for interior trim color and veneers, soft grain leather heated and cooled front seats with 14/14-way power adjustment, 4-way lumbar adjustment, and massage functions, plus front passenger-seat memory, contrast stitching and piping, heated and cooled rear seats, four-zone automatic climate control, premium carpet mat set (front and rear), Suedecloth Premium headliner, and soft grain leather on dashboard fascia, upper door trim, door bin, door armrest and center-console lid.

The description further states that there are "Chrome side power vents with Portfolio Script". That is not true, at least on mine.

The "Portfolio Pack" also allowed for more choices on paint and seat choices. For example, mine has "London Tan" seats, which I don not believe were an option on the "base" XJ.

Luck
