Greetings. I found a 2014 Jaguar XJ at a junk yard that is being parted out. I purchased a few parts and noticed that the vehicle has power sun shades on the rear doors…at least that’s what the workers said. My XJ has the manual rear shades. For XJ’s with the power rear sun shades on the doors, how are the shades controlled? Which button brings the shades up and down? I’m thinking of purchasing them and installing them on my vehicle which was originally fitted with manual shades. Which button controls the rear door sun shades? Thanks.

 

The window button controls the shades 1 push for window 2 for shades. There is a window module on each door that controls the shade i had a problem with one shade not working and thought the control module I had from a 2012 XF would work with one plug in, found out that there are 2 plugs for the shade module and one for just windows so I purchased a 2-plug module same number on Ebay and it all works as it should.
