Default Pulling up the ultimate in the black paint

I usually favor Jet/Pure black but while waiting on my injector tool decided to move away from engine work and bringing out the pigments in the Ultimate Black. Anyone else with this common yet special paint?

Also managed to score a OE spoiler from a wrecker for about $120 shipped in Ultimate Black hope it makes it here in one piece. It was meant to be.

My XF-S was Ultimate Black. Really sparkles in the sun and sooo classy. But you need to love cleaning your car . . ..

I've had nothing but black cars, since the late 70s, and I think the ultimate black is a terrific color. I was very disappointed, when we ordered our late, great 2012 XJ, and the color was temporarily unavailable. We ordered the "Midnight Black", but it wasn't the same. After that car was tragically wrecked, by someone who wasn't paying attention to the road in front of them, our replacement XJ was Ultimate Black.....

Best thing about the 'Ultimate Black' is that it doesn't show the dust, like regular black does.

It’s weird some of the specs are flat among sparkles and makes it look a little dusty.

Thanks for the contributions

Spoiler came in one piece. Call me lucky except for one darn corner that did not want to stick well.

To be fair, on my picture, that probably is dust!
