Rear Hub / Bearings

Rear Hub / Bearings
I have a noisy rear bearing so I figured I'd just get a pair of low mileage hubs (both rears) from a vehicle breakers / salvage yard - shouldn't have bothered, money totally wasted.
When Jaguar say that you cannot use hammers or impacts to remove the drive shaft they are not kidding - both units received are wrecked, the bearings are damaged and unserviceable - so if you have the same plan don't bother unless they use the appropriate Jaguar press to remove the shaft (though I'm told this too can damage the bearing as it requires over 12 tons of force to push the shaft out).
I have no choice now but get busy replacing the bearings / buying ready refurbished units though suppliers of same are not easily found.
