Replacement Key Fob

Replacement Key Fob
I'm looking to get a second key fob for my 2016 XJ. The dealer charges north of $500 for a new fob plus programming.
I've found a few online places with replacement fobs:
https://www.carandtruckremotes.com/2...15k601-aa.html
https://www.keylessentryremotefob.co...ton-key-fob-1/
These would need to be programmed by Jaguar ($125, I think).
Does anyone have any experience with these sources, and would Jaguar be willing to program them?
Thanks in advance for any insight.

Some have had success, as a JLR SA I have never had success with aftermarket fobs. If they even program at all, they do not last long or work sporadically - not something you want in your key. Also, many dealers will begrudgingly program an aftermarket key (many refuse outright), and you will get NO warranty or guarantee.
I say pay for the JLR key, it comes with a warranty and guarantee it will work. These cars are worth spending the money on to avoid problems, as these cars have enough problems on their own without more being introduced.
Just my opinion of course.
