Sorry to resurrect an old thread. Does anyone know if the trunk part has the wire pigtail already there?
I looked but haven't found anywhere to plug it in.

How can you expect us to help you when you didn't tell us the year and model of your car, have that information in a signature, or list it in your Public Profile?

Look again it's there unless a previous owner removed it. Did you look under the carpet?

My bad. Figured they were the same for all years.
mine is a 2016 XJL. Not 100% sure of the trim.

I did look under the spare wheel cover.. but not much under the carper. I assumed it would be on the big harness right there.

Edit: Just went pack and found it. Thanks for the confirmation! It was tucked under the big loom.

For anyone else that may come across this..its a set of of small black and white wires.

It was there in my 2011 XJL. Pic of it in this thread.

Still wondering if the wires are in the dash somewhere too...

Haven't searched hard for connectors. I will once I finish the other vent swaps. If not I'll just run new wire to tap into the rear vents.

Yeah that is pretty much my plan too. Let me know if you want the connector info. Got mine from DigiKey I think.

Plus I am adding a switch inside the center console to turn the rings off if they get annoying on long night trips.

I found the connector. Just don't think I can wait on them lol. I have some assorted ones in the garage I'll be using. Going to tap into the wires instead of cutting.

Love the idea with the switch! I'm going to do the same.
