Default I want the same as Roverhaul and Salad !!

Hi,

If anyone is in for the puck swap H20boy did and looks for someone to buy the knurled, I'm in

Alternatively looking for the part number of this puck ..

This is for a 2010 XKR vert. The knurled version went standard in 2012 and I like it better than the version in my car.

Thanks,
Sebastien

Since the individual part is not available directly from Jaguar parts catalog, I purchased the entire XJ transmission shift assembly from a salvage yard similar to the following link. Then I just removed the top cover, unscrewed the rotary shift knob and installed in my XK. You can also find this part on later model XK and XF I believe.

For reference, I found the following part nos in special service message 71896:

The Rotary Gear Selector can be replaced independently using a service kit
Service kit C2D38186 is available for XK150 12MY onwards & XJ351 10MY onwards - £132.24
Service Kit C2Z8728 is available XK150 & XF250 pre 12MY - £95.26
Service Kit C2Z29872 is available on XF250 12MY onwards - £132.24

If you want a knob fitted to any of those vehicle ranges then those kit nos should contain everything you need to replace yours.

Prices correct as of posting.
