Default Seat help

My drivers seat adjustment & memory is no longer working, can someone please help me as my seat is uncomfortable as I'm not as tall and just reaching the pedals 😂

Welcome to the forums Misskanara,

A blown fuse is the first thing to check and eliminate. Unfortunately the relevant fuses are in the Passenger Compartment Fuse Box behind the rear seat.

Although the Owner's Handbook suggests removal of the rear seat back should be left to a Dealer, it's not too difficult.

Two 30 Amp fuses protect the ddriver's seat.

For total loss of all seat movement functions, the Workshop Manual suggests the Seat Module has gone into "sleep mode". A lock/alarm set/unlock or a "hard reset" may reverse this.

As we do not know the age and model of your car, my best guess is to unplug and re-plug the connectors on the bottom of the seat.

You can "reboot" all your electronics by disconnecting car battery for a couple minutes.
