Exclamation Slight vibration at IDLE

So I have had my 2014 Jaguar XJL Portfolio 3.0 AWD for about two weeks now and I absolutely love the car. Compared to my previous jags, 1996 XJ6, 2004 XJ8, 2008 XJ8 Vanden Plas, this one is amazingly fun to drive and ultra comfortable and beautiful. I turn heads wherever I go. But there is one thing that is bugging me that I didnt immediately notice before. Once the car warms up and gets into resting idle, it has a slight vibration that is noticeable. It isnt a consistent one either, its like a breathing vibration, that is that it will clear up then begin vibrating then clear up and vibrate again, almost like a vacuum hose was loose or something. I dont see any CEL so I am puzzled as to what it might be. Not sure if this is related but when I shut the car off it shuts off pretty hard too. My other jags would not vibrate at all, you wouldnt even know they were on so I know something is a miss. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

There are many possibilities, so more information would be helpful.

What is the current mileage? Did you buy it from a Jaguar dealer? Is there any factory warranty left? 0r CPO/extended service contract? Where does that vibration seem to be coming from? Any noise with the vibration? Do you have all the previous owners' service records? Did you have a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) done by a Jaguar dealer? Just looking for ways to put the cost of this investigation/repair back on someone else, if possible.

I'd watch fuel trims carefully, hoping for clues.

To do that, the OP would need an OBD2 code reader (Bluetooth ELM327) and the free Torque app. See my post #3 in this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-gauge-168158/

Instead of displaying temperature and voltage, you can select fuel trims and whatever other parameters you want.
