Suspension fault..

Suspension fault..
Hello from Malaysia!
I was driving around today and had been in journey for approx 20mins.. Didn't hit anything or roads were not usually uneven. Just the usual bumps here and there..
But as I was driving, "Suspension Fault" came up. As I was already near home, I continued driving, over many speed bumps too.. And the car felt perfectly fine. The way it rode over the bump, the way it was "sprung", all felt the same..
Unlike the W221 S-Class, where when there was a suspension fault, one side or the front or rear felt funny over speed bumps and felt like the spring rates was different.
This time, the car felt perfectly fine...
My car is a 2011 351 XJL 5.0 Portfolio...
Appreciate any input and advice a great big thanks in advance.

My 2011 XJL has an air sprung rear suspension as standard equipment, I imagine yours does as well. When I open the rear door and sit in the rear seat with one leg remaining on the ground outside the car, I can detect the rear air spring(s) inflating to keep the car level (I weigh 200 pounds). This may be the "suspension fault" if the leveling feature is not working properly, but such a fault would not affect the car's ride characteristics, especially if you are the only passenger in the car. I would imagine your dealer can diagnose the problem without much effort.

You need to get the fault codes read that will have been stored when the fault message was displayed. These will give clues as to where the problem is located. The X351 model series only has air springs on the rear, and I don't think there is anything checking the front steel coil system, as it's unlikely to have a height detector.

Thanks so much for the info guys!
Tell ya'll something funny. It may or may not be related but im happy to share to see if it will help anyone else.
One day, i was driving along on my way back from a long distance trip. After approx 2 hours into the journey, the suspension fault occurred. In previous instances, i restarted the car and the fault went away instantaneously and never came back.
So i pulled aside and i stopped the car. I turned it off and turned it back on and true enough, the fault was gone.
But 5 minutes later, fault came back again, showing the same as the above picture.
Anyhow, this turn off and restart, i did it 3 more times before i gave up and drove with the fault showing.
Shortly thereafter, my iphone which was plugged into a "cigarette lighter type charger" in the center armrest console power plug next to the USB plugs, had already 100% battery and was fully charged, so i pulled out the charger to stow it back.
The moment i pulled it out, the suspension fault went away. Instantaneously.
I have not used that charger ever since. Ive bought a new one and now the suspension fault is gone for good.
Could it be that a faulty cigarette lighter charger was messing with the voltage or something to that effect causing the suspension to have a fault?
I dont have much technical knowledge but im wondering if it could be related at all..
Hope this may help someone else..
