Default Swap engine and won’t start

Hi everyone!!!
I bought Jaguar xjl 2012 3.0 D with seized engine.
I decided to swap engine, now won’t start, not crank absolutely nothing.
Engine from Jaguar XF S 2012 everything look ok, 3.0 d v6 twin turbocharged, code 306DT.
when I trying crank he cut the power off.
question what can be wrong? Maybe immobiliser? Or something else. Engine was with all electric cables so I just connect to my ECU.
Can anybody help me please?
Thank you

I am not an auto technician, but here's my educated guess.

One problem is that you put an XF engine in an XJ. Their engines may be identical mechanically, but the electronics are not the same.

For a Jaguar Smartkey to start the car, I believe that the Smartkey must first be paired (married) to one or more modules in the car. To do so, that Smartkey must first be divorced (electronically separated) from its parent (the car it was born with) using the proprietary Jaguar software and then electronically married to the other car. It appears that various modules are not communicating with each other.

Did a qualified Jaguar specialist install the engine?

Good luck sorting this out.

He wrote that he only change engine, so the key and modules are original from the vehicle. If i have understand right the ECU are aware of high pressure pump and incectors? All other are just values sent by various sensors. I would first check engine to chassis cable and both starter cables, from battery and ignition key. Engine should rotate by starter, even ECU having incorrect info from high pressure pump and injectors. You can also try "dirty" method to run starter: Connect both positive terminals together on the end of starter solenoid (Warning: Risk of sparks and short circuit to ground)
Have you try to turn engine by handtool from crankshaft pulley?

Vasara yes, so far I just connect engine to my ECU, not programmed anything.
Cable between engine and body is connected properly, battery is new. You probably right when you saying about high pressure pomp and injectors.
Now do I have to swap the pomp from my old engine or just the sensor from top of the pomp?
thank you

Vasara, about engine, yes I check and you can turn the engine from crankshaft. Before paying for engine seller show me video how engine works before being taken out from the car with details to confirm is this engine what I paying for.

Absolutely no clue. Sorry.
About checking that the engine rotates now when mounted would be good idea. I have messed up sometimes the mounting of starter motor so that the gear and flywheel locks each other. (not in a Jag though), but the effect are same: No crank and all lights off because heavy consumption on starter. Are you sure you have working starter motor? If you bought vehicle with seized engine, somebody might try to start it until starter motor died?
(just throwing ideas in the air...)

Thank you very much, I will checking all that tomorrow.
I bought complete engine with everything on it.
So some coolant pipes are mine only, everything else like: starter motor, air conditioner pump, power steering pump, alternator was already on it.

Well spotted. Always should start from simpliest things.
Most likely you will get engine running now. it might not run smooth until injectors are "coded" to the ECU. Most universal OBD2 code readers have the diesel incector run-in part, but no experiense how well they work with Jaguar ECU... If you don´t have an devise to run-in injectors to ECU, bite the bullet and visit garage who have Jaguar gear to do it. One possible cause for engine damage are overfueling by leaky injector(s), so you might what to get them running correctly soon.
And once you get it on move, please share pics of her.
