Default Tail LED lamp connector

I had the same condensation problem like others in my XJL MY 2011 right tail LED lamp unit. (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...sation-192495/) The water inside created a shortcut, making some lights not functioning.

Therefore removed the tail lamp unit, drilled a hole and removed the water. Now I want to test the unit before putting it back because my car is not located nearby at the moment.

To test I’m trying to understand how to provide power to the connector pins. I have two questions.

C4LS36 connector

The connector is called C4LS36 and has 6 pins. Based on the electric wiring diagram each pin has the following function. (Only first page shown)

Pin 1 - STOP
Pin 2 - REVERSE
Pin 3 - DI LED ???
Pin 4 - SIDEMARKER
Pin 5 - GND
Pin 6 - FOG

From the wiring diagram it looks to me as there should be 5 different LED functions (Stop, Reverse, Sidemarker, Fog and DI).

Question 1: What does DI LED mean?

But from the text on the lamp unit there seems to be 6 LED functions.

STOP: 13.5V 6.4W / 9.5W
TAIL : 13.5V 0.7W
TURN: 13.5V 25.7W
REVERSE: 13.5V 4.7W
FOG : 13.5V 4.7W
SIDE MARKER: 13.5V 0.675W

Question 2: How do I test the 6 different functions above using only the 5 pins (+ Ground) in the connector? What am I missing?

I'm guessing it's digital input. Without breaking down the componentry, hard to know for sure design intent. Seems plausible to me.

DI = Direction indicator (Turn signal)

Not absolute sure, but i think sidemark and tail are lid from same input.
