Something is off here. The pictures above are of the TPMS receivers(s), Also the OPs picture is a 433 MHz frequency receiver. The function of this box is to receive signals from the transmitters inside the tires and pass on the signal received to be processed by the TPMS Control module. Originally the frequency of the TPMS systems in jaguar North American cars was 315MHz. As far as I can see the 2016 XJ uses 315 MHz equipment. According to the parts catalogue F-Type and XE use 433MHz components.

I purchased new rims, Perellis and 4 433MHz sensors. All was well for about a week then the light came on. Tire shop cleared the code, and all was good after 1/2-hour drive (recommended pressure and actual pressure showed on dash readout). 2 weeks later the light came back on, no actual pressure now shown. After reading some, I learned these modules can be finicky, so I purchased a new OEM unit.
I went to a local Jaguar repair shop today and was shown an ALLDATA screen shot. The unit is under the passenger seat, so it looks like some wrench time is in store this weekend.

I’m not sure about the 2016 model year, but for many years of Jaguars the TPMS sensors (the ones in your tire, not the module) can be very picky and won’t let you use universal ones. You can find numerous threads on this across the XJ, XF, and F-type forums.
If you didn’t buy OEM Jaguar sensors, I would recommend checking with the Jaguar parts department to determine which part number works with your VIN. You should then be able to purchase either a set of Jaguar sensors or the Continental/ VDO equivalent. Best of luck.

By the way, the ALLDATA that stated the module was under the seat was wrong, nowhere to be found nor is it in the above dome light console.

Well yes it turns out that when you clear the codes for the TPMS, it takes an amount of running time before the the fault is detected again and set. I know because I am having trouble with my 2012 XF TPMS. My issue appears to be that my TPMS receiver(antenna) is not functioning according to my SDD. I have a new antenna coming. My system is 315MHz. I also have been looking at a 2015 XJR and it also uses 315MHz components. It is also my understanding that 2016 and later XJ cars have the TPMS control module built into another control unit. The antenna unit for your car is is as shown in post #2 by GGG. The picture you have in post # 1 is an antenna/receiver for European and Australian cars.
Did you obtain the DTC codes for your car?

I pulled the old sensor out of my rim today to satisfy my curiosity. They are 413MHz. I pulled the roof console off this afternoon, nothing in there like the image GGG sent me. I am taking to a buddy of mine that may be able to scan it Monday and see what codes pop up. Thanks for your input Six Rotors!

I checked the vehicles origin out when purchased, it was new and a demo car in Michigan. 1 owner then I purchased it from the Jaguar dealership in Ft. Wayne Indiana.
