Default Upgrading Tires On My Kasugas

Hello everyone. I'm kind of torn between 255/40/20 and 295/35/20 or 255/35/20 and 295/30/30. My stock setup is 245/40/20 and 275/35/20. Do you think it will be fine to go lower profile but wider tire? Thanks for your input!

Johny I run 265/35Z20 and 295/30Z20 Michelin Pilot Super Sport (BMW spec "*") and they are IMHO transformative as to how the Jag handles and feels. They wear great and I have 14k on them and may get 2k more. BTW the tire size is what is used on the XJR.

Hey they are Michelins. I've had both and there (IMHO) no rounder, better handling, or quieter super high performance tires out there. Look at F1, every driver and team would prefer Michelin over Pirelli. As for comfort, I didn't try PZeros on this XJ, but had them on my 2001 XJR and ended up on Michelin Pilot Sport AS2s as Super Sports were not available. Better ride and comfort, handling wear... Just remember if you choose to get them make sure that they are matching compounds i.e BMW ("*"). Lastly let me highly reccommend if you go to the wider tires, get the XJR sway bar, you won't be sorry.

I am currently running 20mm spacers on my car. I wonder how 265/295 would look...

XJSSS, would you happen to have the part # for the XJR sway bar? Thank you!
