I can vouch for this product! I have driven spiritedly 25,000miles since getting a pulley, tune, and cats and the car has performed flawlessly! Last time I dynoed my car I had my old blower with a worn torsion isolator and I put down 490whp on a dynojet. I'm sure I'm running over 500whp now on the XJL SC. Best thing is I go in for service at the dealer and it's all gravy because it's pretty much undetectable by mechanics. Velocity APs customer service is top notch with Chris for tuning support and Stuart for product inquiries! Awesome job guys! Now let's see if I can get into the 11s at the strip! I need traction!

On a 2016 you have the Bosch MED17.8.3 ECU. The product we send out (the flashing tool) is the same for all the Jag tunes. However, on the Bosch you will get substantially more power increase.
On these we are seeing around 620/625BHP with pulley & tune. It will feel like you swapped in a bigger engine.

1. Are the HP numbers going to be the same between a 2014 XJL Supercharged and a 2014 XJR after pulley and tune? Is the ECU the major difference in making more power?
2. It sounds like you are able to get more HP from the 2016 ECU?
3. Any stock dyno numbers from 2014 up XJR?
Thanks,

Question for you on the tune:

Yes, the final figures would be the same on both models, there's not physical differences between the engines.
Yes, the 2014-on cars switch from Denso to Bosch and we are able to get a little more power from them.
No dyno numbers from the later XJR, but we have lots in the FType section on our website, showing around 40WHP gains with tuning (from the 550BHP Base) and 56WHP with upper pulley and tune. All these JLR 5.0 Supercharged engines are the same, just different levels of software limitation so if we tune an XJ or a V8S FType, they still hit the same final numbers as if we started with an FType SVR.

Indeed there is. I don't think we got around to adding the XJ to our website, but it's exactly the same as the XE, FType, Range Rover Sport etc.
The ECU Tune will get you to 416BHP, addition of a crank pulley (bolt-on) will get you to 450BHP.

Should see that, +/- 1 or 2. We recorded 453 with 60.5mm upper and crank pulley on our software with this engine. The upper at that size only makes 0.75lbs of boost so it's only worth a couple HP. Especially since the combination of the two is pushing past the upper limit of the blower's efficiency range so it's more than likely not making more peak HP, just shifting torque lower in the RPM range.

There are 2 pulleys. The upper pulley is $200. It makes 1.5lbs of boost and is about a 4 hour install. The lower pulley is $1095 with new belt + idler pulley and it makes 3.5lbs of boost, installs in about 1.5 hours.

Jaguar F-Type V6 & V8 Supercharger Crank Pulley
Although this says Denso, just order this one. The programmers get sent out configured for all JLR options anyway so you'll end up with the same thing. We'll work on getting the website set up to reflect all the options.
