water pump and all plastic
Good afternoon, I have a 2014 xjl 5.0 supercharged with 55k miles, bought at 34k, dallas
I recently started smelling coolant after every drive and over the past 2 months since I noticed it I've had to add coolant twice when it went about an inch below the fill line.
I haven't tried to locate where the leak is coming from since I'm planning on replacing everything.
After reading through all of the water pump replacement post it was noted that i should go ahead and replace all of the plastic as well, specifically the tube, front and rear crossover pipes and the ones on top that break when you're impatient. and in a few videos some of the rubber hoses were ripping during removal/installation. not sure of the names of the common ones.
also, should i get all of my parts from a dealer? or dealer website (PLEASE let me know what website) or trusted part i don't mind paying a premium to get OEM but if there is an aftermarket option that just as good for some of the hoses or other bits i would be great to know.
i know the supercharger has to come off for the rear crossover, I'm concerned about post saying it gets stuck, hoping it will be easier on a 2014. any tips?
what is the actual part name for the crossover pipes, new designed y pipe that has one outlet plugged?
and if you think any of the below parts are overkill please let me know which ones
would you consider the below list all of the pipes/hoses that should be replaced?

Most of the hoses and connectors you referenced I only found sourced by Jaguar. For dealer-sourced parts, I use:
https://parts.jaguarcarlsbad.com/
For the supercharger coupler you can get the solid oil-filled type from eBay (should prevent repeat of damage). I bought the whole Jaguar supercharger service kit from eBay, which includes the spring-type coupler and whole supercharger snout. This worked out well as my s/c snout was damaged by the coupler. On the downside I will have to do it again in 80k miles as I used the spring-type coupler again.
The supercharger oil is the AC Delco stuff for GM engines. You can find this many places but it’s nasty stuff so wear protection and use in well ventilated area.
There are members who can better answer your questions on various part numbers for just the cooling system. However I did post a list of parts I used for a similar job on post 59 here:https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-214277/page3/
There are some other posts in this thread that comment on other coolant hoses, so you may want to read the whole thread.
All the best.

Thanks this helps a lot! unfortunately now I feel like I'm on that edge of the parts hole where you can start to justify buying more and more parts since "you're already in there". I'm planning on buying everything this weekend and taking my time with the repair. once again thanks for the reply.
