does the float come to the top of the fluid? If no check the collant/water mix as if to much water the float will not rise.

Odd. I had that happen to mine, the sensor seems to wear out over time. It's built into the coolant expansion tank, my guess is you can just replace that. It takes 30 minutes or less.

That's a good idea. I'd like to see how the image looks when you're all done. I am a little concerned the camera is going to pick up a lot of reflection day and night off the white roof and cause an issue with auto contrast.

I can't see it. If I look into the tank (cap off) is the float supposed to be right there?

So far so good. I can adjust the angle of the lens as well.
I will update once I run the wire to the front

Dealer replaced one of mine under warranty. If I never use them, could they still eventually break?

I took my XJ to the MOT today.
No markings, exept the crack on winshield, what is ordered but take 2 months to arrive.
Diesel smoke test result was 0,01 what tells that everything is still Ok on my engine, even after 14 years and 316tkm (197t mil).
(been thinking that it start to be time for newer car, but why and if, then what next? )

Find a well-cared for XJ of the same type, but with low miles, so you can rinse and repeat. Pay the premium for a top notch used one.

That have been my mind. Local market is pretty much zero available so import from Germany it is again. Offering gets thinner there too.
Noted that one R575 available with low km, 575:s are super rare on EU market. Bit pricey though, 139k Euro.

mobile.de pages are sensitive for almost anything. Seems like currently Edge browser is only one opening pages. Owned by eBay and they working with the issue.
Aaannd.. i made an mistage on link:

My problem is local import tax for vehicles. For 575 kind of vehicle they add about 30-40% of the value of the vehicle.

Default I fixed my driver side door wood trim crack today.

My XJL has a tiny crack under the Meridian logo, down to the bottom edge of the wood trim strip. I purchased a windshield crack repair kit and applied the liquid to the crack
It vanished! See before and after photos plus a picture of the stuff I used.

The crack

Another picture of the crack

What I bought to repair it.

After the repair. I'm happy. I'll put a little wax on it tomorrow, to make it perfect.

Nice repair! Can't see it at all afterwards.
I have always had to send the panels off for refinishing.
