Yes I think they are very rare. After I looked at the differences I was not interested anymore.
The additional speakers are mounted in the back of the front seats. The goal was to deliver a proper sound field to all passenger positions.
Not something I thought I could hear driving the car. It does include conversation assist.
So maybe you would want that?
Since I have removed a few things on my car I am kind of shocked at the low quality and Chinese made audio stuff in my XJ.
I saw someone upgrade their door woofers and the low cost aftermarket speakers he used were just made so much better it was a shame!

I've got the 1200W system. I've never been an audiophile and just completed a 5.1 surround system in my living room. I have taken for granted the XJ's surround sound and now I find myself searching for new music on Spotify that has sound that can be spread across the system.
I'm unable to play via usb connected to my iPhone, so lower fidelity bluetooth or AUX will have to do.
