Window tinting....

Window tinting....
Was thinking about adding darkening tint film to the car, but have a question for those that may know, regarding the double-paned glass windows. The XJ has double panes in the roll-down windows. I know that for a building (home, etc), that generally have double paned windows, a reflective window tint is not recommended because of the air gap between the panes heating up and leading to issues. So, knowing that, I do not intend to have the reflective kind, but the regular tinted kind which would provide some cooling when parked in the sun and also provide privacy in the rear of the car (as that would have a heavier/darker tint). With the summer heat in TN, I will be adding the darker tint if there are no detrimental issues with the windows and I am ok with the looks of the car when completed. The question is: does the normal dark tinting also heat up the gap between the panes where I could be heading into problems further down the road? (no pun intended)
