XJ AWD In The Snow

XJ AWD In The Snow
I'm "crossing over" from the F Type Forum with a quick question. We have a home in Lake Tahoe and Norther California. As such, we have SUV's to safely travel in the snow. With that said, are there any XJ AWD owners out there that have a similar situation and find that their XJ's do just fine in snow and ice?
Thanks in advance...

I live in Quebec, and we do get snow, as in a lot. The awd is very nice, winter mode as soon as it's slippery. I've tried to skid it and the control is just perfect. I have sottozero 3 tires. It just skid enough to feel the back end slip but it just stop there, it won't skid more. launch from start is very fast. I'm not driving like a fool, but I haven't had any issues what so ever. I've driven in i'd say 4 inches of snow. More than that I take my pickup for the sake of the plastic trims, i'm sure it will do fine nevertheless.
