Out of date, definitely. It is, I suspect, a product of car advert aggregation - it was on PistonHeads as For Sale, while on the Parkways website (when I went there) it was clearly reserved. But when I am browsing, rather than looking to buy (I already have my Unicorn, a 2018 5.0 SC V8 Autobiography) I don't dig down to find the original advertiser. This is often good enough, but obviously not in this case - sorry for any confusion caused!

Did anyone ever find any actual XJR sales figures? I am interested in all XJR from 2014-2019.

At 2:20, this guy states Jaguar sold only 301 XJ models worldwide in 2018? No way that can be accurate. Wikipedia oddly only provides sales figures for 2010-2016..

I don’t think that the figures were THAT low, but there’s no way for anyone to be certain unless they are in the know because of their position with the company. I tried for over a year to obtain information regarding production numbers of my vehicle. I reached out to Jaguar International, Jaguar USA, Jaguar Canada, and maybe some other branch of the company. No matter how promising any passing along my request seemed, I ultimately was met with something like “customer facing data isn’t available” related to production numbers. I even asked the fantastic people who service my vehicle, and one of them asked someone else in the company who he thought would be able to help, and even he got blocked off. Sigh. Oh well, I guess! I’ve heard that possibly once it’s a decade old, production numbers may become available to the public, but who knows. Good luck!

Considering how rare this car has become, I thought I would post some pictures of it in two different colors. When I was shopping for mine I looked at just about every color in person that was available even though I knew I wanted blue. Here are pictures of Santorini Black and Yulong White.

As some of you know, Yulong doesn't photograph the way it truly looks in person.

I just noticed earlier tonight that car had hit the market.
I wish there was pictures of it.
Anybody know what Fuji white looks like in person?

is that a metallic or non metallic color?

My 2011 XF was Fuji White and so is our Range Rover Sport. It's basically just a clean, but pretty warm white. No metallic. Very easy color to live with as it's easy to touch up, unlike the pearl of my Yulong White XJL.

That's a very low mileage 575.
I noticed one appeared on the market here in the UK a couple of weeks ago - it was a 2017 with 67000 miles for sale at a Jaguar dealer for £34000 - it sold the same day the ad appeared !!

Thanks for the pics. Is that the actual car that is currently for sale?

Got it. I was a bit confused because the sales ad says that the interior is black (ebony).
Thanks for posting the pictures.
How did you happen to get them?
Any interest buying the car?

Yes, that threw me for a loop also so I called and the sales guy sent me the pictures.
No interest in buying as I'm not a fan of the light interior.

I agree on the light colored interior. Would prefer a darker color. It’s probably better in warm weather to have lighter colored interior though.
I also noticed that the wheels are the
“technical grey” version and not
what would be my preferred color if “gloss black”. I think gloss black would pop more on the car. Especially given it light color interior.

How common is the car over there/ how many go up for sale? Even though the mileage is starting to get up there, that price seems way too good. I doubt a 2017 with those miles would list under $40k in the states.

There is a 2014 swb listed right now with over 100k miles for $48k but this price is an absolute joke

As far as I know, there are no 575's for sale here in the UK and just 3 XJR (351)

I was just told that a deposit has been taken on the car. Looks like it is sold.

There is quite a high turnover, though - XJRs in general, and 575s in particular, do seem to turn up on the market with some regularity.

I'm just the opposite. To me, a light colored interior is way more luxurious than the traditional all black leather interior. There's something so "exclusive" to me about the look of a car with tinted windows and seeing a cream/white/bright tan leather interior behind it. I also find that light colored leather tends to hide the creases better in the leather that develop over time which help keeps the leather looking newer.

That white on white 575 is unique!
