XJL slow door close, this is my second Jaguar. My slow door close isn't working but I'm thinking the car not equipped with that feature, this is the top of the line super charge long base Jaguar with screens on the windows in the back with flip-down computer tables so this model should come equipped with the door's close feature but it's not working. Unless there's something I have to set to engage it.

If anyone could help me out here that would be great thanks in advance

Your car does not have this feature.

 

Slow close doors were introduced to the model later on. Perhaps someone else can confirm which year.

 

My 2014 has them and I think it was 2014 when they went standard across all XJ's.
In the 2014 new product brief they are mentioned as standard.
