Default Xjr throttle body coolant line. Passenger side.

I can’t remember for the life of me where that line runs and connects to and where the line on rear manifold hooks up to ?

Can you post a picture to help?
If it's the hose I think it is There is a MUCH better replacement out there?

This hose is from an F-Pace or something like that and Jaguar does NOT list it as backward compatible but after working on that rear water manifold and cooling hose it is well worth considering? Plus it's way cheaper! About $55 or so. Fit's 5.0L and 3.0L and maybe others?

I wish I could remember who posted this to give him credit but the rear water manifold rubber hose connects to the heater hose and that's mounted tightly against the inner part of the engine compartment on the passenger's side.

This is the part you can see with the air bleed port. Note you can replace this with a much better brass one too?
Brass Bleeder Screw

Here is the stock hose and note that bracket is a REAL SOB to get off and on! Jaguar C2D5710 about $150 or so.

So WAY cheaper (About 1/3 the price) and so much nicer and quicker to install and remove. No bracket and just snap type fittings on each end. I wish I had known about this and anyone working at the back of the engine should consider this much simplified hose assembly.

Believe me your hands will thank you for the lack of wounds and blood!

I have that one already hooked up in there it’s the other line on the heater manifold it connects to the throttle body under the intake 12jagmark told me. And finally found it in the 9000 pages of shop manual. But the kit I got came with a brass bleeder screw just had no idea what it went to. Thanks again I couldn’t of done all this without you guys and specifically you clubairth1!

The new kit came with this little plug type part I assume for the front manifold but the old one looks worn out I don’t see how this is supposed to work. There is no outlet for the coolant reserve tube. Thoughts. ? See pics. This old one looks like it’s gonna leak at any moment. I’m about to fire her up soon.

The part you show is used only on Land Rovers and as you saw it's just a blanking plug. So the kit you got must cover both LR and Jaguar cars? If so you are missing the jaguar hose.
Should be able to find that hose on any Jaguar parts site too?
Try these guys;

No. Some Land Rovers come with this port blocked from the factory. Why? I don't know just a different configuration of coolant hoses. The block off part is still plastic so that's why it's included as plastic fails with time and heat. I imagine that changing the cooling part to eliminate that port would cost more money and now you have at least one additional part in your inventory system. All that costs money. So why not keep the cooling pipes the same for all applications and just change the rubber cooling hoses around to fit?

We need to remember that Jaguar is a small car manufacturer. So they use the same drive trains across the entire JLR range of vehicles. But this also requires some differences depending on the installation of the drive train.
