Default Fuel Rail Line Seals

I just shipped off my injectors and fuel rail to get serviced. Upon removing the fuel delivery and return lines, the seats inside on the rail look a little perished. However, I cant seem to find a part number for them. Does anyone know what it is?

Okay, a quick trip to the dealer parts department indicates they're part of the rail. Guess I won't be replacing them then...

G'day Swagger,

Are these seals what you are looking for?

The P/Ns are CBC4720 and CBC9113

After a quick Gurgle search they seem to be available on eBay.

Cheers,
Jeff.

Those look like them! Weird that they don't appear whatsoever in the dealer parts diagram... Ordered those ones on eBay.

One more question. Are these supposed to be put in the rail first, or are they supposed to fit over the lines before being installed? My old ones appear to be pressed inside the rail.

G'day Swagger,

I don't think it matters much, I slipped them over the ends of the fuel pipes and then eased them into the fuel rail.

Cheers,
Jeff.

Got it! Thank you! Mine just remained in the rail and my dealer service manuals didn't indicate how those were installed. Once the rail and injectors are back from getting cleaned and new crossover pipes installed, I'll follow that method!

I'm sure it goes without saying, owning this car would be faaaaar more difficult without all of you! Thanks for everyone's help so far!

Question: The feed line is a bit smaller than the return line so the olive is kinda bing on that side. Did you run into this @watto700 ?

G’day Swagger,

Yes I did, the fuel line fittings are slightly different in size, I suppose that is why here are two different part numbers.

Cheers,
Jeff.

I'm assuming this is a v12 part and doesn't apply to the 6?
