I've got a very clean lower half of my motor but the top side now looks terrible, just moving on to redoing all the injector lines and seals but not sure what kit to order from MrInjector?
Whats the 6.0 injector type? I took some pictures but embarrassed how crusty they currently look...
A few years ago now I was cleaning up my top side as you are and I just removed all the injectors complete with the fuel rail and had the whole lot serviced at a local Inection shop for quite a reasonable price. Easy.
Even though my injectors looked pretty dodgy they all came up to spec after a thorough cleaning. All the necessary seals etc were included.
They are NOT the same as the inline six ones. I tried having mine refurbished, but afterwards, they started to die one after another. Best to order brand new ones and I'd highly recommend OEM.
We stock the size hose that joins the 2 separate rails together so can supply this if you specify the length you require please, alternatively it can be purchased from the link below. I'm afraid we don't stock the hose ferrules though so these would need to be saved and reused.
So basically 3 orders of kit 27 for 12 injectors plus the Aramid hose. anyone got any other bits and bobs they recommend to add to this shopping list? Anyone have a source for hose ferrules?

^Fair warning: I did use his service and while he did do a good job replacing my crossover pipes, all of my injectors came back missing the filter baskets and then began failing one by one...
A question - what length/id/od is the EAC802235 fuel feed line to the injector rails (13 below)? I'm about to order the injector rebuild parts from Mr Injector I listed further up the thread and thinking I should get a length of Aramid hose to go down to the fuel feed from the tank. I'm not anywhere near my car right now and I have a pilot friend flying to England every week who can bring stuff back for me.
Oliver you are looking at the pressure regulator vacuum line which goes to the manifold, rubber 3/16" I.D. I think, nothing special. The fuel feed pipe comes over the engine and is metal and connects exactly where the "9" points. If you could look at your engine you would see that right away!
Not yet. I just have the car running again after doing all the bottom half, still have the rear shocks to put in. I am just testing it now to make sure everything is torqued properly, the new wheel bearings are ok, all that sort of thing. Also scavenging an x300 at pick n pull for various bits.
I'm assembling parts to go through the top of the motor this winter so any advice there much appreciated @Parker!

There was a fresh arrival x300 that just came into the salvage yard i use, no crash damage , If I lift the hood maybe a V12 if lucky ( I didn;t look for the external badging )
The problem in removing the fuel injectors is one being stuck, and the force needed to free one
This leads to the possibility once it comes loose and your force getting away from you bending the fuel rail and possibly damaging it
What I did was use a long piece of lumber to leverage a point and once the injector would come loose , you have better control on the long end of the lever and not get away from you
There is the possibility of some rusting action going on inside the fuel rail that if this material were to come loose it would affect the injectors
I ran across this once on a X300 other than mine that water in the fuel was suspected and then a long parking / storage period
