Vibration rear axle speeds 60 and over.

Past weekend I did a lot of kms on the highway, cruising speed between 60mph and 75mph. Since I bought the car this was the first time to do so much highway cruising and also the first time I had my family with me. My DD6 is a Majestic so a maximum of 4 will fit.
The highways in Holland are usually of a very smooth surface which makes every vibration of the car itself noticeable. When the road surface is very gently going up and down and the car sways just gently with the road surface there is vibration on the ingoing stroke of the rear axle, not on the outgoing stroke. The vibration becomes more present when the ingoing stroke is longer (deeper) or the speed is higher. On speeds below 55mph the vibration is almost gone.
Does any of you recognise this and have a plausible diagnosis?
Thanks for your help, Olav
