Default ½" NPT to ⅝" Vacuum Hoses

Not only did it work, it set my Air Fuel to nearly perfect. Prior to install I was running 9s.

Right Side

Left Side.

So night before last I finally replaced the ½" nylon hoses with new rubber hoses in the hopes it would resolve my lean codes, and it did resolve the codes. However, my AFR was still way off.
Last night I decided to use a ½" & ⅜" NPT tap on the valve covers and delete the fittings on the right side and the flying saucer on the left. I had a hunch the saucer housing was leaking along with the fittings.

It worked, no codes, perfect AFR and no more nylon lines. The only fitting I didn't delete is the one between the throttle body and the manifold.

That saucer is a oil separator, there's nothing inside it. Now that I know it's good to go I'll mask the fittings off and paint them to match the other panels.

Thanks for all the help guys, I'll attach a lot from Torque Pro a little later today.

Default

Here's a link to a short video. You can definitely tell that the typical hissing it's fine getting the left side and is now coming thru the intake tube.

I'm putting the Flowmasters on it tomorrow, then I'll start moving forward with my headlight retrofit and ram air installation.

Default Need to resize to a smaller hose.

Going to have to try a 3/8 & 5/16. Getting too much on the right side

Default The correct size hoses

The correct hoses are metric but they're all pretty close to standard sizes.
I'm going to swap everything over tomorrow.
The sizes are ⅝ OD - ⅜" ID, ⅜" OD - ¼" ID, & ¼" OD - 3/16" ID

The correct metric sizes are 9.5, 5, and 7mm IDs
