02 Lincoln LS "rear lower control arms" fit 08 Jag XJ?

I am pretty sure I read within this forum suspension area that an 08 Jag XJ owner did say he purchased Dorman (521-937) rear lower control arms that are for an 02 Lincoln LS and installed them onto his 08 Jag XJ with a perfect fit. I definitely know the arms are inter-exchangeable between the LS and a Jag S-type; but, I am hoping others can confirm this particular match is and will be suitable for my 2008 XJ because arms for an LS are priced much less. The picture looks near exact to the OEM ones for an XJ that I have seen. Thanks!

They say no but so far all have been a fit. Just ordered a set of rear uppers for the later S Types, said not to fit. The same was said about the front uppers for S Types, a no go. But they have been on the 07 XJ8 Vanden Plas for a couple thousand miles now, aligned right up, steers great. If nobody tells the big cat that those parts just won't fit, it just may never find out, that it's not all stock Jaguar XJ8 parts, anymore.
Believe the bottons, as well as top rears are supposed to fit

Also, the Lincoln LS (upper and lower) rear controls arms used by Ford are the Jaguar factory parts. I've ordered them from Ford at less than half the cost of Jag, they come with Ford stickers and "Jaguar" in the casting. There are some other suspension parts that were shared, but I the front suspension on the LS is Ford only.

Another question;
Are the rear lower shock bolts as bad as the fronts are?
I ask as to know what to look forward to.
The first Jag from the Carolina's came apart just like in the Arnott video.
The 07 spent half of it's life in Ohio's winters, and were every bit as difficult as described to remove.

I have an update to my previous reply that the LIncoln LS lower arms will fit the Jag. They are the same arms, but there was a VIN break around 2006 that saw the bushing at the hub decrease in length from 58 to 54 mm. So later XJs have the same narrow bushing at the inside and outside locations. The Lincolns kept the early (wide) design.

Shouldn't my early car be one with a wide space then? And how could there be a bushing that's even wider?
In the heat of the action I've been grinding off the flanges of both sides of the busing to make it fit, but it was certainly good 3 mm that had to come off altogether. Hope I don't have to touch this thing again anytime soon.

that's strange. I have an '03 car and of the 2 arms i got from the uk earlier this year one had a too long bushing. The other one slipped in just fine.
