I am currently working on a 2004 XJR with 153k on the clock, it came to me with a "Parkbrake Fault" message displayed. Battery was old, hard reset vehicle and replaced battery. All was good until I performed an alignment. Now I get a DSC not available, Cruise not available, check engine light on, ABS light on, and an intermittent parkbrake fault message. ABS codes will clear and be fine for awhile, but the cel stays on. ABS has C1235 "Right rear wheel speed sensor comparison fault" and the ECM has C1165 "wheel speed sensor rear right input-circuit failure" stored. Ohmed both rear sensors, left was 3.70m ohm and right was 3.75m ohm. Swapped sensors side to side, still RR sensor fault. I'm going around in circles on this thing, and unfortunately I don't have SDD. Any insight into this problem would be much appreciated. Also note, while watching live data, all wheel speed sensors read correctly both moving and sitting still

 

Found it! Found 2 ohms resistance between pin 2 (brown) on sensor and pin 43 on the ABS module. Removed rear seat and BAM there was a lake of water. The connectors under the seat were all corroded

 

You do have to wonder where this lake of water came from !
