Have you looked at Coventry rims?

I just did some research on coventry rims. Thank you for letting me know about them. I think I might go with the Whitleys instead of the Hornet style. I think it will really stand-out in a classy way.

That would be my choice as well, especially with a black car, like mine

Had the 20's.. And in this pot hole infested world, I went back to the 19's...
I got tired of annually correcting blistered tires and warped rims.

I am still contemplating going with wider series tires on the rear of my xjr... What are everyones' thoughts on this?

I wanted an XJR with the 20" Sepang wheels. Then I started reading about the woes of many, like you describe, guy, and I ended up buying my car with the standard 19's. I'm glad I did. The style has grown on me over time. I've contemplated simply mounting wider section-width tires on the 8.5 stock wheels on my car. It would give a more beefy look, and perhaps soften the ride up a bit. After all, I'm not trying to carve canyons in my car.

:-) I get compliments on the 19's all the time. I just wish there was an easier way to get in there and wash the calipers... LOL.
