05 XJ-R Significant Maintenance Milestones
I have a North American '05 XJ-R, and in the owners manual it shows a significant maintenance milestone (outside of oil changes, ect.) at 160,000 kms, which is where the car is at now.
What would this be? I've heard it is spark plugs and interior air filters, but does anyone have a logbook of what work is required at these junctions in mileage?

The manuals that I've seen on this site and Google do not tell you what needs to be done in this regard, but rather discuss general maintenance practices.

Again, I don't find anything on this topic, and that includes the 6,384 page workshop manual for X350 from 2003-2007.

The last link is for, "How To Renovate Faded Wheel Centre / Center Caps", and not what I'm looking for at all, but thanks anyway.
I did find something for an S-Type here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...263478_jlr.pdf
It confirms my initial suspicion of spark plugs, and also says to renew the supercharger drive belt... yikes!
Perhaps someone else has a maintenance check sheet for an XJ-R 350?

I couldn't find one specific to the car but it's the same V8 engine as in the S-Type (some of whose maintenance check sheets are online) so the same things such as spark plugs are needed.
I suspect the plugs needed are NGK IFR5N10 (which are pre-gapped but if you do check be VERY gentle with that pointy central electrode) and also have an anti-seize coating already and NGK say no more should be added.
You may want to do a trial run to see how you'd get the awkward plugs out.
Also, do it with a hot engine as mine came out fairly easily only then.

You can get an online version of the owner's manual and other information on Jaguar TOPIx. You'll need to create an account, and then log in under "Independent Operators".
https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topi...cle/lookupForm
Once you log in, and enter your VIN, you can find the Passport to Service under Documents - Owner's Information - Service Information. That will get you the maintenance schedule.
I changed my spark plugs on my car with a cold engine and had no issues. Less of a chance of heat causing galling of the threads, and you don't have to be concerned about burning your hands.

Interesting, it may be that the 2005 documentation is more sparse online. It does show that the various literature packs are still available in hard copy. I haven't ordered one yet, so I'm not sure what exactly you'll get, but it should be pretty close to the original.
